i imagine some 3 or 4 seasons of game of thrones down the line, when shit’s going down and a ton of people have died, those who’ll start watching mid-series (those summer children~) and haven’t read the books, after the first rounds of deaths, will be like, “who was viserys?” and “who was khal drogo?” and “who was renly?” i’ll basically recap seasons 1 and 2 and some canon from the books

then slowly, i’ll realize

as i watch the white walkers and full-grown dragons in season 8, episode 4

and wildlings are in the promo for the next episode

and isaac hampstead-wright’s sporting a beard in the publicity shots

i’ll realize that viserys, khal drogo, renly, robert, ned stark

are all irrelevant now.

then i’ll just stop talking, and that other person will wait for my answer.

and i’ll just shake my head and say, “never mind.” and 　i’ll mourn for them, these dead characters of the past.

have basically spent the first half of my shift swearing under my breath. why is it so ridiculously busy?!?!
